Hello
I'm Tracy - an autistic writer, teacher and wannabe ballerina or astronaut. I am represented by Rachael Davis-Featherstone at Creative Roots Studio.
I've been a primary school teacher and taught reading and phonics programmes to hundreds of children. In 2020, I launched The Writing Den to engage children in creative writing and encourage a love of stories and books and I have been co-organiser of Herts Book Festival for 5 years.
I grew up in by the seaside in Suffolk and have since moved to Hertfordshire with my husband and three children — who are a constant source of inspiration and chaos!

Tracy has had three stinky jobs! Her first was in a fish and chip shop, her second in a shoe shop and her third was selling giant hot-dogs!

Her favourite meal would be lasagne with garlic bread, then Eton mess for dessert.

Tracy loves exploring the world and learning about nature. Her most memorable moments include diving with reef sharks and swimming alongside whale sharks.

Tracy grew up dancing. If she wasn't an author, she'd want to be a ballerina.

Tracy has always been autistic, but she didn't find out until she was thirty-nine! She is keen to write neurodivergent characters in her books.
